Thieves swipe used cooking oil to brew biodiesel
With gas prices soaring, there have been increasing reports of gas siphoning. According to the Associated Press, here's a another fuel thieves covet -- old cooking oil. Restaurants from Berkeley to Sedgwick, Kan., are reporting thefts of old cooking oil worth thousands of dollars by rustlers who are refining it into barrels of biofuel in backyard stills.
